As Pre-season training continues at the club, we can let our supporters and general football followers know that several friendly games have been organised. The friendly game schedule is:

- February 4th: Hume City FC VS Northcote City FC @ Apex Reserve, Cobram 5pm kick off
- February 11th: Hume City FC VS Green Gully @ Green Gully Reserve kick off T.B.A
- February 15th: Hume City FC VS Whittlesea Rangers @ Valley Park, Broadmeadows 7 pm kick off
- February 18th: Hume City FC VS Southern Stars @ Valley Park, Broadmeadows kick off 5pm
- February 25th: Hume City FC VS Richmond @ T.B.A
- March 3rd: Hume City FC VS Green Gully @ Valley Park, Broadmeadows kick off T.B.A
- March 10th: Hume City FC VS Whittlesea Stallions @ T.B.A
- March 17th: Hume City FC VS Port Melbourne Sharks @ T.B.A

Our first friendly game VS Northcote City will be played in Cobram which gives the opportunity for Country Victoria to see live action of two teams that are playing in the Victorian Premier League. There will be coaching clinics for all kids that are interested in participating in this prior to the commencement of the game with both clubs expressing their delight to interact and greet all the interested children.

Franz Weimper, the Assistant Coach, has been putting the boys through their paces to get them physically fit and psychologically ready for the Home & Away season. Franz, who is highly respected in the soccer industry, has said "The boys have been training very, very hard. They all have been honest with their efforts and contribution and senior pro's like Izzy Erdogan, Steven Pace & Pece Sivevski have been leading from the front. We as a club, are looking forward to being competitive in the VPL."

Our squad will be going to Shepparton from February 3rd - 5th for a pre-season camp, which includes playing in Cobram. The squad is slowing taking shape, with two more signings to be confirmed in the next few days to complete the squad.  Stay tuned for further developments at Hume City FC.
